RIK VERA

Thank you for booking Rik for your event.

Rik Vera

Over the last years, Rik has given more than 1000 presentations to groups as small as 10 and as large as 3,000. During that time, Rik has figured out what works and what doesn’t.

Requirements for keynote speech on stage

  • Rik uses a Microsoft Surface Pro 6 laptop running Microsoft Powerpoint software. He has his own computer and his own adapters (HDMI & VGA). If desired, the file can be sent in advance to the organisation in order to run the presentation on your own device.
  • Rik’s presentation is made up in a 16:9 format and contains video and audio-files. His laptop connects to a standard audio jack plug.
  • For any group more than 25 people, Rik needs a wireless headset or lavalier microphone. A wired microphone, a handheld microphone or a podium microphone make it difficult to give an inspirational and energetic performance.
  • Rik’s laptop is controlled by a remote control that he brings with him.
  • A monitor with presenter view in front of Rik where he can follow the projected slide and the next slide is a real added value to the keynote.
  • Rik is a quite a pro in respecting the given timeframe of his keynote. However a timer in front of him would help him even more.
  • Although Click Share is a great tool, it runs with a delay in big Powerpoint-files like Rik’s, which can cause quite some frustation for both speaker and audience. An HDMI-cable is a great alternative.
  • Rik likes to move during his presentation. A lectern is not necessary.
For events in Belgium & The Netherlands: if the parking lot of the venue has an electrical charging station, Rik would be very happy if you could reserve a spot for him.
  • Rik’s presentation may not be recorded without prior notice.

Requirements for workshops
